The 1000w rear hub motor has a peak output of 1800w. It has a top speed of 32 mph, which is 4 mph faster than the original Mars. This provides a significant performance boost, enabling you to ride further and climb steep hills more easily.

You can adjust the top speed on the LCD or through the Heybike app. Depending on your region, you may need to lower the top speed to comply with local ebike laws.

How to Adjust the PAS Level and Top Speed on the Mars 2.0?

There are two ways to adjust the settings on the Mars 2.0. The first is to use the LCD screen on the handlebars. From the comfort of your saddle, adjust the pedal assist (PAS) level and top speed.

The PAS level ranges from one to five, with one providing the lowest pedal assist and five providing the highest. The higher the pedal assist, the less pedalling effort you must do yourself.

The second way to adjust the settings is through the Heybike App feature.

Available on iOS and Android, link your designated ebike to the app. Then adjust the PAS level and top speed. When the personalization settings are on, any settings in the app will overwrite the settings on the ebike’s LCD.

Can I Transport the Mars 2.0 in a Car Trunk?

The Mars 2.0 has a unique folding design. This enables you to fold the frame in half and store it in compact spaces. Depending on your car trunk size, you may be able to store it in the back of your car.

Can I Charge My Smartphone on the Mars 2.0?

The Mars 2.0’s ebike battery has a USB port. You can use this port to charge your smartphone or other mobile device. Ensure the device’s charging port is compatible with the battery’s USB port. Alternatively, use a converter cable.

Is the Heybike Mars 2.0 Waterproof?

While the Heybike Mars 2.0 is designed to handle wet conditions, it is not waterproof. Do not submerge the electric bike in water. Doing so will damage the frame and electrical components.

Also, we do not recommend riding the Mars 2.0 in heavy rain for long periods. This may affect the battery life and reduce traction.

Are the Batteries for the Mars 2.0 750w and 1000w Versions Interchangeable?

The 750w and 1000w versions of the Mars 2.0 have the same battery capacity.
However, their batteries are not interchangeable. You cannot place the 750w battery in the 1000w version of the Mars 2.0, and vice-versa. Always replace the battery with the matching electric bike.
