Horizon

Previously have ebikes 26", 20" and now the Horizon with full suspension equals a comfortable ride. Only downside is the thumb throttle. Would prefer twist throttle, better control of take off and maintaining speed. Hence 4 star review.

Now, this comes from the heart with respect to the company because I LOVE my Blue Ombré but this is a $2k bike… why would you ever think that 14.4ah was an acceptable capacity for a bike that goes 28-39Mph? On pedal assist 4 is the range that I use because the other 3 levels are too low in speed for me and the delay in the pedal cranks are simply like driving a manual car and having to shift the gear before the motor kicks in to register the speed. I feel this was absolutely a horrible decision for you guys to settle for this and absolutely need to reassess these batteries and provide replacements for anyone who has spent money on The Horizon! With 24x4” tires and the bike already being 79lbs, when you incorporate the weight of a person, myself being 180 lbs, that’s 260lbs added to the stress load of the battery, with PAS and throttle usage and I only use the throttle during takeoff. This bike should’ve easily been at least 28-32ah respectfully and not to mention the effectiveness when it’s dying and slows the capabilities all together making it very difficult to ride! The gears on the bike really don’t serve a purpose because the engineering and function ability doesn’t make the pedaling easier and speed effective when the bike looses power from this horrible battery! I really feel you guys have failed with this model and doesn't stand out to the other versions and should definitely make the necessary upgrades because there is no reason why this bike has only a 14.4ah capacity!!! They wouldn’t dare put manual windows and locks on a Rolls Royce and I would hope that this feedback is really appreciated and swings some production changes and updates into action, SERIOUSLY!!! Oh and the alerts for anti theft when controlling the bike via Bluetooth is another issue and not reflecting the way it is described in the manual and would appreciate some assistance with getting it properly activated

Third ebike, top of the line so far, top like is the full suspension and tire size 20x4", con is the thumb throttle as it causes the bike motor to jerk on rough roads and trails. Twist would have solved that issue.

The Heybike Horizon is a great bike. It met all of my expectations and enjoy riding it to run errands or going for rides on the beach! The Customer service team responds promptly, usually the next day due to the time difference.

I received my hey bike horizon.
The box showed up in great condition no outside damage.
Looking on the inside of the box, the bike was well protected with foam packaging.
Very easy to assemble had it all together in about an hour.
Very happy with the paint job and all the components.
The folding mechanism works really well folds up easily.
The programming is very easy to use and set up
I’m very pleased with the performance of this electric bike
